About Mount Snow

states_minus-capsLocated in southern Vermont, Mount Snow is the closest major ski resort to New York City and Boston.  This proximity to eastern metropolitan cities has made Mount Snow one of the most popular ski resorts in the East.  Mount Snow has been in business successfully since 1954.

The ski resort is made up of four mountain areas.  The Main Mountain has trails for all abilities, including a two-mile trail from the summit for beginners and a snow tubing park.  Carinthia, the site of the new base lodge, includes 8 terrain parks and a half-pipe for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.  The North Face is Mount Snow’s expert area.  The Sunbrook Area is perfect for intermediate skiers.
